Ever run into something on the net that would be perfect but is a bit (or a lot) out of perspective? Found a freebie that works quite well, not without some bugs. Example: City Drug - Before and After for Bannack (Map I'm working on.) Link to program download.
Probably something I'm doing wrong, but it sometimes just doesn't work the first time. Others it will inexplicably rotate the finished product. I used to do this manually with lots of copy/paste as new image - rotate -recopy etc. for all aspects. Real time saver. I've passed this on to a couple of folk via PMs, etc. This forum is a great place for sharing.

Yeah I cant wait to give this a try. I do a lot of the things you mentioned you used to now lol, a bunch of cropping, copying and pasting, etc. Hopefully if I can figure it out it'll save some time.

I had just done it the hard way while working on the Masonic Lodge in Bannack. That prompted me to go looking. Great discovery.

avoid bmps. dunno why, but sometimes they get loaded in black and white.
doh. on the graphic for the assay office for bannack, one of the windows was out of kilter. like old times cutting saving as new image, then loading it up in the program.

'nother note about using the program: I find that I get the best results the first time, if I start in the lower left and work around counter-clockwise.
