write it down.
Open a new browser tab and type the number in. Mine is 192.168.200.1
hit enter. You'll be taken to your router's management.
you may have to sign into the router settings window. If no one has
messed with it, you can probably get the default admin name and
pdonkeyword on the router manufacturer's website. Some ISPs change these.
In many cases, they write them on a sticker on the bottom of the
router. If not, you may have to contact your ISP.
Once in and signed on, Look for Network settings.
Then start looking for Port Forwarding. If lucky, it will be right
there. On mine I have to go through another menu option, NAT.
No clue, but once in that I see Port Forwarding.
Forward the ports as indicated below.
Portforward these ports to join multiplayer games:
DirectPlay7: 47624-47624 TCP/UDP
DirectPlay8: 6073-6073 UDP
DPlay7&8: 2300-2400 TCP/UDP
Outlaws: 5310-5310 TCP
You may have to duplicate this information in your anti-virus
software.
You'll definitely have to make an exception in anti-virus under
allowed programs. Just add Outlaws.
